BN450M spontaneously switching to battery

For some reason, my UPS devices, same model, sometimes switch to battery even when plugged in, and when there's plenty of power. Today, for instance, it shut down for lack of battery power, but the stuff plugged into the "Surge" slots continued to work just fine. Is there even a way to fix this?

Please refer to page 4 of the user manual provided below and change the sensitivity setting of the UPS to low and then observe the behavior of the unit after.
