BGM1500 battery

If you try to lookup replacement batteries for the BGM1500 on the battery selector page it says nothing is found, it does show a replacement for the BGM1500-US model but not the older model without the -US in it. Is it safe to assume both use the same battery. Or did APC decide to never release a replacement battery for the older version?
