my BE650G2 shutdown immediately after a power cut. On restoring power I checked its status using PowerChute-Serial Shutdown. This showed:
System Status
Device Status: On Line, Battery Discharged
UPS Load 15%
Runtime Remaining 0 Minutes
Battery Status
Battery Charge 100.0%
Battery Voltage 13.6VDC
The data log also indicates that the battery charged overnight.
Also when I tried to run the self diagostics it returned with status: Refused
I've attached screen shots of the status and data log pages.
Please can anyone suggest what the problem may be?

Based on the limited information the battery is flat and needs to be replaced. Provide the serial number and when the unit was purchased and commissioned into service.
The battery cartridge has a average service life of 2-5 years. Based on usage, temperature, and environmental conditions.
If the system falls within this range it’s time to replace the battery cartridge with a high quality (HR) rated cell / cartridge or what APC terms a RBC.
A RBC is simply a Replacement Battery Cartridge. Your system takes a RBC110 which is just a standard 12 VDC / 7 AH cell.
You may install any 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 10 amp hour cell in the same form factor. Lastly, one of the OEM battery makers is CSB.
As such look for a reseller in your region selling the same.

Hi Teken
Thanks for the response which confirms what I suspected.
However, if it is that the battery needs replacing then I have to say I am a bit on the disappointed side for the following reasons:
So all in all while I suspect you are right I find it dissapointing that the unit should fail without warning, which is what makes me think there is a chance something else is amiss.

Based on the information you provided regarding the installation date. You just missed the two year warranty coverage. ☹️
I would encourage you to purchase a new battery to see the results. In the interim if your specific unit has a data port connect it to a computer running the APC Power Chute software via the supplied USB cable.
Once the two are connected and running it may be able to provide more insight to the active fault / error code(s). Depending upon version of PCPE / PCSS software it may provide the following event, data, ups logs.
If so, please do share the same here for review if possible.

After the fault occured I installed PowerChute Serial Shutdown. Attached are some screen shots of the log from yesterday. From the data log you will see that the UPS load is low, this is because I now, until I get a new battery, turn off the systems when not in use. The normal load is around 35 to 40%.

Teken I've tried a couple of times to respond to your post but the forum seems not to be working properly with Firefox, or at least the way I have it configured. So I'm trying again with Chrome which seems to work better with the forum.
After the problem occurred I installed PowerChute-Serial Shutdown which is what is providing the contradictory information, ie that the battery is both discharged and 100% charged. All status lights are solid green. I've attached screen shots of the Event Log, Data Log, and UPS Status. You will notice that the Data Log shows the battery charge dropped to 39% at one point. I am confident that this was due to a brown out/momentary voltage drop.
