Did I cause any damage? The systems came back on line with a batter voltage from the front panel and NMC2 of about +136.5. It does detect the SMX120 as one external battery. The percentage of charge is slowing creeping up from 1% which is disturbing.
Did I fry anything by doing that?
Thank you.

Thanking my lucky stars that the SMX120 was not damaged. It just took a bit of nudging from the charging circuit to get it topped off and back at 100%.
(I tried to use a couple of words in common usage and the auto-censor cried foul. I guess some words, even directed at oneself, can be considered insensitive or inappropriate.)

If you heard any noise while doing so - Yes. I’m unclear what you’re describing about the battery 1% charging?!?

Nope. No noise whatsoever. The extended battery pack was connected in a test configuration and in the configuration the battery charge indication was 100% and that was the NMC report with the internal and the one external SMX battery pack connected. I then disconnected the SMX and physically reconfigured the UPS and the SMX into the tower configuration sharing the stabilizing feet and screwed together at the top with the screws and two attaching brackets. At that point I reconnected the external pack to itself rather than the UPS and noticing that the external pack wasn’t being detected I realized my mistake.
After correcting the mistake and powering the system back on rather than seeing the percentage the expected 100%, it was at 1% and stayed there for quite while until it started rising slowly, then jumped to 23%, then to 80% and was back at 100% after 25 minutes or so.
it’s back operating normally so apparently no damage was done as confirmed by no sparks, smoke or noise when I accidentally plugged it into itself.
