Hi All,
Been working through the latest batch of upgrades recently released for ATS NMC2 devices (7.1.2). Had issues upgrading with DCE so done all via USB stick.
Come to do one of our overseas ones with the help of a local engineer but not only has it failed the upgrade it's failed the device. Can still ping but can't access GUI or get in via DCE.
Currently waiting on the engineer to dig out an APC console cable but what would be the best steps to take here? Hopefully the device isn't bricked!

When this has happened to me in the past it was due to one file (usually the sumx file) not transferring . If you can FTP to the unit make sure there is an AOS and SUMX file with the correct version number in the default dir.
if you have disabled FTP you usually can putty to the device and enable it

Turns out that when I transferred the files over to the engineer it added a 1 to the end of the file name which it didn't like. Managed to sort in end however DCE still showing as a failed device even though I can access there and see all firmware upgraded. Taken this up with Schneider support now.
