APC9631 - Communication has been lost to the device!
Hi,
I've got an APC9631 card plugged into a smt1000rm2uc. I got both used and they were outdated on the firmware. I was able to flash the SMT to the latest and the 9631 to 7.08.
After the reboot, in the card's interface, I get the Communication Lost to Device and the interface also thinks that its plugged into an APC RPU, which it's not.
Did something go wrong with the flash? I've never seen this before.
If it doesn't think it's connected to a SmartUPS, that usually means the wrong application was installed. That'll likely explain the lost communication too, as the device it's trying to communicate with isn't there.
If you have any problems using the updater (eg, it may believe you don't need to update as you're already on 708), I'd recommend uploading (via ftp or scp) the three files in the Bins folder to the card, one at a time - bootmon, aos and sumx, in that order. The card will reboot after each one.

For some reason, the Windows app kept saying that the firmware was corrupted, even when I was upgrading initially from a 6.* version to here. It did let me put the "wrong" app on there, but I was at least able to still enable FTP and update there.
