On some models of APC UPS there is an option to temporarily / permanently mute the beeper.
Are you sure the beeper hasn’t been muted?!? If the option is available on APC Power Chute disable it and report back the results.
If it’s not available on Power Chute it must be done physically on the system.
Provide the actual APC UPS SKU so we can reference the full user manual to see what’s available and supported.
NOTE: The mute feature does not apply to critical / hard faults. As such the beeper will always operate in the following conditions if applicable: Internal hardware fault, over heat, relay weld, battery disconnected, over load etc.
Test: While the system is connected to AC Mains disconnect the battery and report back if the system detects the missing (RBC) battery. It should be displayed on the LCD if available / Power Chute.
