APC Back UPS 550 Replace Battery Alarm

How do I disable/turn off this alarm until I can get a new battery? Also, where does one buy this replacement battery?

Hi,

If the UPS is a BE550G you can disable the alarm by connected a Windows PC to the UPS using the USB cable. Install PowerChute Personal Edition on the PC and from within PowerChute you can disable notifications.
