APC 1500 New - Charged for 24hrs ,
only 4 lamps displayed , reset systems , no improvment, still 4 lamps , is there a practiical way to reset the charge monitor circuit so that it uses the existing battery pack with voltage on or over 27.5 volts DC and shows 5 lamps .
Putting a battery pack from a 5 lamp displayed UPS into a 4 lamp ups unit , does not change the status from 4 lamps being displayed .
another batch we are testing so far has 4 more 4 lamp units ... is this a flaw with the charging scaling circuit ? all battery voltages are over 27.5 Vdc .
