We are installing new AP9640 network cards and what we are running into is the network card will continue to bounce the port up and down when the port is set to 1000/full. when we set it to 100/full the port will stay up. is this normal or do we have something else going on?

You should update the NMC firmware to the latest if you still need to do so.

The firmware will be found at https://www.apc.com/us/en/download/software-firmware/

Enter AP9640 as the model/part number and download Network Management Card 3 (NMC3) Firmware v2.5.0.6 for Smart UPS with AP9640/41/43
