AP9617 Factory Reset?

Good evening,

I am very shocked at how badly the AP9617 works.

I bought this card second-hand and have only had problems with it.

Since I installed the card, the USB port no longer works.

When I reset the card, a DHCP attempt can be seen in Wireshark, but the card remains at its static IP address: 10.0.0.250!

I have now set up a new network in my UDM with the above mentioned area, now I can finally access the card.

Unfortunately the access data is not "apc|apc", I have already tried several resets (hold for 20s, hold for 10s | wait 1sec and press again).

I have read here several times in the forum that this card can only be reset via RS232.

So I bought a DB9 converter, without success, when I plugged it in the UPS just switched off. I tried a second converter with the same problem.

I did some research on the internet and found out that there is an extra crossover cable (probably to exploit the customer even more).

I rebuilt the cable but without success, no matter if with 9600bps or 2400bps... No data in the terminal.

My question now, since I already had to invest a lot of time, is a master reset without serial possible, or should I just put the UPS in front of the door at Schneider?

Greetings from Germany

Jan

=====

Guten Abend,

Jan
