Hello, I have many AP9617's configured on my network using DHCP, and they work great. My only problem is with trying to get them registered in DNS via our DHCP server. Of course our native Windows computers can register in DNS dynamically through Active Directory, but we also have our non-windows equipment (Linux servers, DRAC's, etc) registering in DNS through the DHCP server.
Is there a setting or option that I'm missing to enable this on our AP9617's?
Thanks.

are you looking for DHCP option 12?
In our knowledge base (http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/ ), we have documented the DHCP options in article ID FA156110 we can send and receive and it sounds like you want option 12 which only our AP9630/31/35 cards support.
can you review and let me know if thats right?
