Hello, All!
I have inherited a collection of APC managed PDU's that need updated firmware:
Model | Qty. | APC O/S | Rack PDU | Boot Monitor |
AP7841 (B2) | 1 | 2.6.4 (11/12/2004) | 2.6.5 (11/16/2004)
AP7941 (B2) | 4 | 2.6.4 (11/12/2004) | 2.6.5 (11/16/2004)
AP7911 (B2) | 5 | 3.7.0 (01/13/2009) | 3.7.0 (01/13/2009)
AP7841 (B2) | 5 | 3.9.2 (07/06/2016) | 3.9.2 (07/07/2016)
AP7941 (B2) | 1 | 3.9.2 (07/06/2016) | 3.9.2 (07/07/2016) |
But there don't appear to be any downloads in the Firmware & Software section of the product pages for each of these PDU's!
Where can I find the latest available firmware for these devices?
TIA,
Eric P.

I realize that these devices are way beyond End of Life (EoL). But the firmware must still exist. Ergo: The firmware must still be available. But like most things: I'm sure that it's just a matter of knowing where to look!
Ideas? Suggestions?
TIA,
Eric P.

Hi Eric,
While we don't keep firmware on the website for most (if not all) discontinued products, you're correct it's all about where you look 😄
We've recently updated our knowledge base article on the Treck vulnerabilities with new firmware for some older NMC1 devices, the RPDU app included - you can find the last revision of firmware there: https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA410359/

Thanks, Matt!
I was able to download the apc_hw02_aos394_rpdu_393.exe executable:
> Customers are urged to upgrade to applications using NMC1 AOSV3.9.4 or later
But I'm not clear about what to do with that! e.g., If I execute it from my workstation: Will it contact the RPDU and update the firmware across the network?
TIA,
Eric P.
