Hi,
I have an issue with an AP7921.
The first three outlets always have power and cannot be switched off.
When I tell it to switch them off, there is no click, even though the light goes out.
As soon as power is applied to the unit, I can hear relays click, which means that the first three relays must be activating as soon as power is applied.
The other one I have stays silent until I tell it to switch outlets on.
Its out of warranty, does this sound like something that can be repaired?
There are no errors in any of the logs either, all normal, and all the other 5 outlets work as they should, just that the first three are always powered no matter what.
MANY thanks in advance!!
T16

There is a possibility that the relay on the particular outlets might not be working properly.

T16,
To start with, are the first 3 outlets configured to turn on immediately while the rest are set to turn on after a few seconds?

Well..
No matter what I do, i cannot turn them off.
My other unit when the outlets are set to switch on immediately, switches them on AFTER the PDU has booted up.
With this one, as soon as the PDU sees power to the unit, the first three outlets trigger, and there is power to them.
Then in the web interface, I cannot turn them off, no matter what I do.
What happens is that the light goes out on the outside, and the web interface says they are off, yet the power is still on!!
The relays must be working, as they click "on" as soon as there is power, and click off again when the power is removed.
Its so so strange, I dont understand !
Its not like APC can help, as its out of warranty. For such an expensive bit of kit it seems ludicrous!
