Hi all,
I got around 50 ATS sitting in different region. And I would like to schedule reboot it in one go.
Do you have any idea how can I do this in one script?
Thanks,
Edwin

Thanks Angela.
I'm trying to reboot the management interface only.
Do you have any example on the script?
I need to reboot 50 in one time...

Hi Edwin - are you referring to rebooting the onboard network management interface or rebooting the outlets/power output on the AP7723 ATS?
If referring to the outlets, the Rack ATS doesn't have switchable outlets so the only way to truly do this would be to cut power to the ATS somehow to disrupt input power. We offer switched rack PDUs designed for this type of thing but ATS does not encompass that functionality as I mentioned.
If referring to the onboard network management interface, there is an SNMP OID you could use or perhaps execute a script to log in via telnet or SSH and issue a reboot command.
A possibility that may work and is a last resort suggestion to investigate would be to refer to the following knowledge base article -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156352
Refer to the following excerpt:
Please Note: Executing this command will cause the ATS output to turn off for 330-340ms. The ATS is resetting and the CPU/microcontroller is not in control and able to maintain the output. (This command also effectively gets issued when the user issues a "Reset to Defaults" command via the onboard Network Management Card.)
Because of this above blurb and depending on what equipment you have attached, executing this command may effectively cause a reboot on your equipment if what I mentioned earlier is absolutely not an option. You'll want to test this on a unit prior. And some equipment I've seen, is able to successfully ride through this and won't reboot. Lastly, the rest of the knowledge base explains what this behavior will accomplish as it may reset some settings on you but it is the only other thing I could think of to mention to you worst case scenario but it is not a supported way of truly rebooting the ATS output. Ideally, you'd want to cut power to both ATS sources.
