I now have two ACRC100 units where the fluid flow sensor doesn't register any flow. One of them was doing this in the past and started working again after backflushing to clean the system, but I suspect this time I should replace them. How much of a mess does this make? I can't find any directions for this but I assume it involves opening up the fluid.
Thanks, Graham

Hello Graham.
To replace the flowmeters, you will need to close the shut off valves on the supply and return piping to isolate the unit. Then drain the unit of the water (about 2.1 gallons). The flowmeter may just need to be cleaned or it may need to be replaced. Also check how much flow is going to the unit. If the flow gets below 4 gpm, the flowmeter may not be able to read it and will show 0 gpm. For the firmware, if you can call into our call center (888-695-6500 option 2 three times) we can send you the correct firmware for these units.
Thank you

Also wondering where I can find the current firmware for these. The APC download site is offering me v 6.1.0 which then says is for incompatible hardware (is this for the ACRC300 miodel?). The one unit I just had shipped to me a few weeks ago before APC discontinued them has version 3.7.6 but I can't find this for download anywhere.
