My application is simple:
Send an emailed alarm that says "power is out".
I know I can do this with a meter, and get so much more functionality, but my client is specific to just an emailed alert notifying out an outage.
Can the ComX send email via a cellular network, based on a contact closure ?
I know of some products that will, however I don't like them because they don't have a SE logo on them.
🙂
Thanks for some guru-level help with a ComX application.
Or maybe there's an economical SE PLC that can meet this application ?
Greg.

We are planning a firmware delivery for Com'X210/510 in Q1 that will have this functionality. Do you have a specific job that needs this or is this a generic need?

I have a specific job this would apply to. Glad to hear we're adding this functionality.
