You can configure power connections between floor equipment (PDU, UPS, ATS, and Switchgear) using the power connection wizard in the floor view.
To access the wizard:
Go to a room and open the floor view. Select a PDU, UPS, ATS, or Switchgear. Click the power connection icon to see details about an existing power connection for the equipment you selected.
If there is no power connection configured, click Connect.
Select the room where the device that supplies the power is located. You can choose either the current room or another room in the same location. Click Start.
Select the device supplying the power. You can search or you can select the device in the floor visual. Click Next.
In the connection properties for the device, You can see power measurements for the device if they are available. This will help you make the right decisions about capacity for the power connections.
Click Confirm.
To remove the power connection, select the device, click the power connections icon, and click Disconnect.
Note: The color coding for the power paths is configured in the desktop client. It is visible in the web client in the floor and rack editors, and in the floor view when the Power overlay is selected.
