Hello team.
I added the KNX spacelogic BMS IP Gateway module (LSS100300) to the Bacnet interface in the EBO 2024 software version 6.0.3.112 under the AS-B-24-P control unit. How can I display the CIAT air conditioners that are connected in KNX serial mode on the LSS100300? I cannot find the KNX section in the EBO software settings or in the LSS100300 properties. Do I need to load a KNX driver to detect or manually add the air conditioners? If so, please guide me on how to do this.

Hello ElvisOla!
To "How can I display the CIAT air conditioners that are connected in KNX serial mode on the LSS100300?"
You need to import into the LSS100300 either the dedicated ETS-Project or only the Group-Address-Export.
With both ways you implement simply the dedicated GA and you can decide which GA's you really need for the exchange between KNX+BACnet.
Of course you need to adapt within LSS100300 the dedicated BACnet-Server details.
Sounds like a plan?!

Hallo@ElvisOla
here are some steps you have to follow
1- import your ETS project into the BMS IP GATEWAY. Now you should see all the planned group addresses within the KNX object section
2- select which of those KNX objects should be exported to the BACNet interface. Simply click on the dedicated “export” checkbox.
3- Navigate into the System/Interface/BACnet menu and set all the necessary fields like BACnet ID, BACnet Name etc.
4- Open your Building Operation workstation, select you AS and use the Device Discovery function to detect your BMS GATEWAY.
5- Drag the BMS GATEWAY within your AS BACnet IP network.
6- right click on the BMS GATEWAY within the BACnet interface, then select the device/upload all objects menu. All the selected KNX objects should be now listed as BACnet objects

Hello Cristiano
I am attaching a video and a screenshot of what happens when I try to import the knxpro file sent to me by the manufacturer of CIAT air conditioners.
The import was done from the gateway's web interface and it is not working.
I have already added the LSS100300 under AS in EBOW.
Thank you for your help.
Please help.

Hello ElvisOla!
Is the ETS-Project protected with a password?
Would you mind to share the ETS-Project?

Hello Thomas Rhode
No, the knxpro files do not have a password and were sent to me by the manufacturer of CIAT air conditioners. Attached is the compressed file sent by the manufacturer, which I have unzipped. I tried several, but none of them worked. Or is the ETS file you are referring to different from the KNXPRO file?

Hello ElvisOla!
I have checked the first project out of the many ones you sent.
By doing so, I saw that this ETS-Project consists only out of one device.
And I guess the parameter settings are still unchanged (Default).
However … the blocking point here is, that there is no group-address linked to any of the objects.
There is not even created a single KNX Group Address.
The KNX-Group-Addresses are the essential details which the KNX BMS IP Gateway takes out of the ETS-Project!
If no Group-Address is part of your project, it does not make sense to import, it which leads to the error message.
I guess the best way of support would be to go in local contact with a SE KNX Specialist.
In which country are you located?

Hello Thomas Rohde,
Thank you for your reply.
I would like you to help me get in touch with a KNX SE specialist who can help me finalize the KNXPRO file. I am in Benin (West Africa).
If possible, I would appreciate your help or guidance on how to create the KNX GROUP ADDRESS to import the file and resolve the issue.
All air conditioners are CIAT brand and have a KNX port connected in bus mode to the LSS100300 control unit.
Thank you very much for your response.

Hey,
Are your CIAT controllers V3000 models? If so, not all KNX variables can be converted to BACNET, for example the 3 x 2 bytes.
Good luck !
