Hi all,
A customer has an installation in which a DALI Basic gateway with 2 DALI lines (MTN6725-0004) with the first firmware version is installed. Unfortunately, the gateway no longer works and it is necessary to change it.
But it cannot use the "Replace" function due to the fact that the new gateways have a newer FW version. and does not support the initial ETS application version. When he wants to download the configuration from ETS, he receives the error messages below.
Is there a solution for changing/configuring the gateway without having to commission all the DALI from scratch?
Possibly make a downgrade of fW so as to accept the ETS application.

Indeed, there is the possiblility to downgrade the firmware of the gateway. There is special downgrade version which brings the device to version 0.2.8 which then is compatible to the old ETS application. You strictly need to use this downgrade version as it is an unconditional downgrade that will delete all parts of the new firmware that is on the device.
