IP Address not found in Wiser for KNX

Hello

Please be informed that when we change the IP address in LSS100100 where we have not found the IP address. we are trying advance IP scanner and others software but failed which hardware version is V3.1, RN-2019-W17-0978 is not found IP address.

Also, we have another issue LSS100100 which configuration and button on/off ok but actuator not functional that means light not work on/off state.

we are awaiting for your positive replay to solve the issue.

to "if i purchase 16GB or 32GB card it will be ok, or not?"
Tests done with up to 8GB. So I guess higher sizes could work also.

I checked your ETS-Project and either you sent to me a wrong one (early version or backup) but the switch-actuator has no GA's linked to the dedicated objects?!
And it seems that your latest configuration was not downloaded yet.

For the IP issue, you might have entered incorrect details, to access the controller again you can boot the device in temporary settings as stated in the manual.

For the feedback issue, when a device is not sending a feedback you might concider to use the main object as feedback object otherwise the system does not know the actual state..

Hi Samimul,

 

I would like to divide your post into two parts.


Part1, you changed the IP-Address and now you cant find the device anymore.
With the procedure below you can go back to default IP-Settings (192.168.0.10) without changing anything within the general configuration of all your scripts, Visu, logics etc..

Please try it and let me know.

 

Part2, you have created in a Visu a light switch which is properly working within LSS100100 but finally the KNX-Actuator does not react.
It would be very helpful to get more detailed information on this topic as it is otherwise pretty difficult to help you out. Please provide dedicated pictures of the configuration or even a video to better understand what you have done.

Hi,
Sorry for late replay. we have tested different way to solve the issue but we have failed.
For Part-1: As per your instruction, we have tried to reset Temporary setting of W4KNX (LSS100100) where LED1 is blinding and LED2 is totally off what's why i have not reset it. Please see the attached video for your understanding.
Part-2: Please see the another video for switch actuator not work when we pressed button in W4KNX (LSS100100)
Note: our 3 devices not work still now . please help us how to solve it. Please see the following link

Hello Samimul,

 

Part1: I am very sorry but for me it is not fully clear if you performed the reset, to reach the temporary IP-Settings, or not.
Out of the video I can just see the status described from you but no further information if you are able now to reach the device (IP-Point of view) or not as a first step.
Out of the video I could also identify the production date (W17/2019) ... so I guess it is not a new device which you bought recently?! Why I am saying that ... if the device is still within warranty period then you can exchange the device. In case warranty period is over ... we could try to flash the memory card. I can provide dedicated material (Image/HowTo).
Pre condition for that is that you feel comfortable with this steps to perform.

 

Part2:
Out of the video I can see blinking error LED of the actuator. So not sure if the actuator is working properly in general. Does the actuator works properly when you sent dedicated telegramms with the help of the ETS?
Can you please share the ETS-Project and a Backup of your W4K please?

In general ... it would be helpful to get for both cases also the dedicated Firmware-Version you use on the devices.

Thank you for your continuous support. 

Part-1: I have reset it but can not found temporary IP which LED-2 totally off so that i am unable understand it is perfectly reset or not . I have tried which your provided with color mark yellow. Can you provided necessary document for flash the memory card, which inside W4KNX is 1GB, running market may not found 1 GB Card, if i purchase 16GB or 32GB card it will be ok, or not?
