Hello,
In bank group, for each refurbishment project of local offices, they install several meter that use KNX protocol, and one homelynk for data storage. Afterwards data are send each 15 minutes from homelynk via FTP to a server at headquarter.
Currently, there are 11 HL installed with software release 1.3.0 or 1.3.1 .
A recurring issue occurs; some of homelynks are not anymore reachable ( e.g. no reaction on ping command). To restart them, they have to go on site and cut off the power, afterwards, they work again for a certain time!
They noticed that led status 2 was off! Only status led 1 is steady on
Concerning the KNX side, it seems that there is no lost of data storage during the dysfunction.
I asked the customer to send backups of concerned homelynks ?

I have tested your SD card and I find only this: SD card is bad. I can't connect to homeLYnk, even if I do hardware reset with hardware button.
I should send you new SD card to test.
Can you please check version of integrated KNX circuit. Please follow link below:

Please try upgrade FW of homeLYnk to newest version 1.5.1.
Keep in mind in this version is known bug with trends. Description of issue:
Trends (counter type) are broken after FW upgrade in following scenarios:
hL 1.3.1 => hL 1.5.0
hL 1.3.1 => hL 1.5.1
sL 1.1.1 => sL 1.2.0
sL 1.1.1 => sL 1.2.1

I have planned to go on site with the customer to install the new firmware, and to let you know the result, customer told me that, the issue occurs with all the installed product, and that always appends after few months (6months, 9months). He also mentioned that they are struggling with this problem since the beginning of the project, the first installed homelynks were with firmware 1.1... !
They have replaced some of them, but the problem persists!
I will send you backups from some HL, there is perhaps something’s wrong with the ftp connection, or the amount of logged data, memory load?

We discover IP bug at FW version 1.3.1 on homeLYnk I guess, but this problem should appears earlier. At FW 1.5.1 on homeLYnk is this bug fixed. When this bug will appear after upgrade on 1.5.1 FW, please let me know and we will find solution ASAP.
About memory load, at FW version 1.5.0 on homeLYnk was this issue, try to check version on these hLs and make FW update if it is possible.

I went on site this week, only one of the eleven homelynk wasn’t reachable after “ping cmd”,
Problem :
some of them were empty (3x HL), no program!
Other one, since few months, no trends values (2xHL are concern) ?
For a other one, some tabs are missing in configuration part, (see printscreen below) !
I several time tried to upgrade to the last release 1.5.1, each time, the homelynks still keeps they current version “1.3.1” ? (I tried with several HL)
The only way to upgrade was to replace the SD card!
Type of SDcard: “Samsung 4GB”
It seems that the issue is caused by SD card, IP connection seems to be ok ?, It's a recurrent problem that a least concern 5x HL in this installation !
