SpaceLogic 5504RVF Has dimmer Firmware

Hi all

I have a SpaceLogic 5504RF relay new out of the box that when I go to firmware it shows up as a digital dimmer and I cannot perform any actions on it like turning on power supply etc.

Is there any way to fix this.

I have tried resetting etc.

Lee, looks like you need to return this for replacement, doesn't sound too healthy.

Hey Foo,

I had this 'sort' of issue last year. I updated a 5516RFV and didnt pay attention to the firmware file name. I updated it to dimmer firmware. If you call C-Bus Tech Support, Tan Le can sort the issue for you. No need to remove it from the installation

Hi Marty,

This situation is a little different to yours, as if the unit had the wrong firmware from the factory, then there are factory settings that would be incorrect and cannot be recovered simply by putting the correct firmware back in. 

As such, unfortunately the unit does actually need to be returned.
