We are facing challenge from our competitor on dual tech sensor. Main contractor do not concentrate on functionality of dual tech sensor only. Installation cost, material cost and cable cost are main consideration too. Extra conduit and cable will be installed if our dual tech sensor is used.
Can we change the power supply of dual tech sensor from 220Vac to C-Bus control?

Clipsal have a dual tech sensor (Ultrasonic & Passive infrared) for occupancy detection, part number 752.
This can operate as a 3 wire device on 240VAC or it can be connected to a C-Bus auxiliary unit (L5504AUX) using a common collector output on the sensor.
Technical details can be found here:

Figure 4 of the installation instructions show pins A1 & B1 of the sensor are connected to the C-Bus auxiliary unit. These correspond to inputs A1 & B1 of a C-Bus auxiliary unit.
When the sensor is triggered a pulse will be sent to the C-Bus auxiliary input.
The C-Bus auxiliary channel would typically be programmed as a re-trigger timer, however the auxiliary channel function can be any function to suit the customer requirement.
