Dear Expert,
I have a to choose a VFD for 93KW motor which is connected to the centrifugal pump.
But, i see catalog in which drives are available at 90 KW and 120 KW only.
If i choose 90KW, will I suffer in running the pump or it will run smoothly without any trips?
MOTOR NAMEPLATE
HZ - 50
HP - 125
RPM - 1480
VOLT - 415
FLA - 158
SF 1.15 PF(COSØ)86(0.86)
Thank you.

This application, with this power will require an ATV600. The next topic as you mention is the power selection, as you say, normally the way is to choose power just above your motor power (in your case could be ATV630D90N4). Another criteria has to be taken in account is the motor FLC (full load current), here you mention 158A, then you check the max permanent current is 173A (lower than what you need). D90 is convenient.
