How to overcome from Partial discharge in MV motors with help of MV drives ?

Hello,

The partial discharge on the motor side is due to spike voltage due to PWM signal of drive and cable length. Multilevel waveform limits these constraints.

To have a better understanding to the motor insulation issue, you can find the attached document.

Presented with LV motor can be easily extended to MV
