According to MLI voltage sent to motor, the drive can check permanently the current on motor side. When a short circuit on motor occurs, rapidly (less than some millisecond) the motor current increased to high value and is immediately stopped by transistor managed inside the inverter. This protection is done according to transistor characteristics. Thank you to tell this is enough explanation.
