Unfortunately, I don't think you have supplied enough information for me to help figure out what your problem might be.
Is this an EWS Endpoint, or a REST Endpoint that you are using?
Can you take a look at the Smart Connector log file and see if anything shows up there? (You may need to turn the logging level to Trace, and enable EWS Server or Rest Serve logging in the Logging Filters page)
You are seeing 'pending' where? On the status page? Can you attach a screenshot?
