Hi,
I am trying to run our SmartConnector processor using HTTPS endpoint.
The EWS address is "https://192.168.1.17:4410/EcoStruxure/DataExchange".
My localhost IP address is 192.168.1.17.
My HTTPS port number is 4410.
I am using EBO 1.9
I have set the security settings to "Redirect web clients to HTTPS"
When I try to start our SmartConnector processor, I get the following error:
"2020-12-17 16:41:04.7925,Info,Processor,<no principal>,Validation Prompt for EBO OPC Item Discovery Processor: MayNotContinue : Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority '192.168.1.17:4410'.
The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.
The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure."
Can anyone tell me what am I missing? Is there any user's guide available that explains how to deal with HTTPS and certificates?
Thank you.
Michael

I am logging into the EBO workstation using HTTPS. Each time I login, I get the attached dialog. I can't check the "Always trust this certificate"…
I click on "Trust Certificate" button and then I login into the EBO.
I also tried clicking on Certificate details and installed the certificate.
Is this the certificate the SmartConnector is looking for?
Thank you.
