On-Site Smart Connector Developer Training: June 26-27th, 2018

Hi All,

I know this may be a very short notice, but we will be hosting an on-site Smart Connector developer training at the Boston ONE Campus on June 26, 2018 and June 27, 2018.

This course will cover how to develop a basic Smart Connector extension through it's whole life-cycle.

• Development
• Test
• Licensing
• Deployment
• Advanced Topics (If time allows)

The training will be free, but all travel related expenses will be the responsibility of the people attending the training.

Great idea... Would you consider recording the session and breaking it up into bite sized videos for the rest of the world who won’t be able to travel? If you could also share any labs/exercises you do that would help new devs  get a practical exercise to go though to bring them up to speed and get online quickly!

Or even run the session to include virtual Skype participants  just some thoughts on how to reach a broader audience - I’d love to have a couple of my team members who haven’t had SmartConnector experience attend for an overview.

I totally agree with this, I won't be able to travel because of short notice but if it was an online session I would definately participate and I know a few colleagues over here in Sweden who would participate online too.

I second a skype session, travelling to Boston will time consuming and quite expensive.

My boss will never aprove a Brazil -> Boston travel to 2 days training.... LOL

Smart Connector is an "urban legends" here in Brazil and I want uncover this.

Thank you for your feedback!

Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to do a Skype training the time around due to logistical blockages. But it is very likely we will be holding additional training this year, and will work on incorpating Skype into the next one, we will also make sure to get these out earlier than this one .

That said, we are also working on some training videos for Smart Connector. Two of the videos have already been posted here Smart Connector Training Videos . As other videos are completed, they will be posted there as well.
