Hi:
Lately, I come across a request which need showing "AcknowledgedBy" information when acknowledge alarms of SBO from the EWS client extension.
However, as I know, it is not supported, from EWS client, except acknowledgement, all attributes of alarm from SBO are not editable.
Is there any other way or function can I use to add the "AcknowledgedBy" attribute to SBO alarms?
Thanks.

Hi Austen,
There is no way with EWS in general to get the AcknowledgedBy. So this is why the EwsClient does not contain this information when getting AlarmEvents or when Acknowledging an Alarm.
The short answer is, today there is NO way to do this unfortunately.
Regards,
-Jeff

I'm not sure I completely understand your request. Are you asking how you can set the "AcknowledgedBy" value when Acking alarms? Or read what that value is?

That is true. Regardless of you are using the EwsClient or the RESTful Gateway, there is a single "user" that is inferred by SBO. That is the user that "acks" the alarms.
In 2.3 there will be a new DataProvider for the Gateway. This would allow clients to use any credentials in SBO to first authenticate to the Gateway and then "Ack" with those credentials. But again, that is in a future version.
