I was asked a question from an EcoXpert the other day; Mike you have given us examples of POC of Smart Connector extension and some that are available on the market place. Can you give us a list of all the Smart Connector Extension out there and also what Smart Connector Extensions are been planned or in development? Good question! The answer was no to both questions yest it seems it would be great information. So I redirect the question to you? What Smart Connectors have you developed that others can license from you and what is on your road map? I'm halfway developing an extension to consume data from a machine learning cloud service ( http://www.metry.io ). The prupose is to send energy readings from meters to them for "analysis" and then they correct anomalies and they calculate an estimated yearly consumption for the meter. We can also collect readings from meters that is not connected to the BMS-system. For example, the electrical distribution supplier has their own meter with their own BMS-system that our customer wants integrated to EBO. Metry can collect these readings and we can then collect them to EBO for the customer without having to install an energy meter on incomming electical wires.
On the roadmap is another project that I'm creating a client to consume Cisco Prime API. It is supposed to retrieve number of concurrent devices authenticated trough access points placed around in educational buildings. The prupose is to replace timers and IR-detectors for ventilation and instead use this data to detect if there is high, low or no presence in the building (since the students use the WiFi Access Points as soon as they enter the school). We looked over some of their diagrams in Cisco Prime and it really reflects the true presence of students in the building. This way they can turn of the ventilation when there is no demand.
For our current project, we have developed a SmartConnector that acts as an 'SNMP Server'. It can poll network devices for information and serve that data up as EWS points. It can also receive traps and converts them to EWS alarms. We are still refining the alarming component to try and produce meaningful messages out of traps that are often quite cryptic, but it works well. The EWS points are defined in a .csv file which specifies the point name, IP address and OID to poll and means we can bring any data into SBO that can be polled with SNMP.

We have developed SNMP Manager Extension also) Now we are testing it on site and enchance configurator - developing MIB parser, device discovery etc. for more comfortable work. It supports v1, 2 and 3 of protocol.
