How to move UPS from one location to another location setup on the SmartConnect Portal - IP adddress changeses
Smartconnect shows our UPS offline when it is connected to the network.
We had a UPS connected to our network and added to the UPS to the smartconnect portal. The portal showed the device operating normally with a local IP address on the location's LAN.
We moved the same UPS to a different location. The UPS now has a different IP address.
Smartconnect shows the UPS offline because the network on the portal still shows the old IP address.
I tried deleting the UPS and then re-adding it later. The UPS still shows offline with the old IP address.
Does SmartConnect not support moving a UPS from one IP address to another IP address on a different IP subnet? The UPS has the same serial number just a different IP address. Seems fairly simple to support this function where the IP address changes to a different IP subnet!
Anyone experienced this or know how to correct it? We have logged a support ticket as well to try and resolve this issue.

I assume you are using the APC SmartConnect solution, that is something totally different then the SmartConnector solution, this is the wrong place for your question….
