How to get the nuget api key for SmartConnector's public libraries?

I hava a SmartConnector Server account and myget account, but how can I get the API KEY for SmartConnector's public libraries?

Hi Xiangfeng,

You must sign up as a developer and create a tenant on www.smartconnectorserver.com. When you do that, and the request has been accepted, you will receive an invitation link that allows you to gain access to the NuGet feed.

If you have already done this, then check your email address that you used to sign up on smartconnectorserver.com

If you didn't get an invite, send me the email address you want me to send the invitation to, and I will send you the invitation manually.

Hi Jeff,

Strangely I haven't received the invite email, it's not in the junk box either. I've had an email from SmartConnector Server <noreply@smartconnectorserver.com> that says the request has been approved and a tenant was created, but there's no email from MyGet.

You are actually send the second SE employee that mentioned they are not getting the invite. So I am wondering if for some reason our Email server is filtering out these invites..

I was able to get around the other one, by sending it to an alternate email address. Do you have a non-SE email address I can try and send the invite too?

I am trying to follow the Smart Connector Developer Guide

Once I get to adding the NuGet reference, Visual Studio does not get the list and throws this error:

[smartconnectorserver.com] The V2 feed at 'https://www.myget.org/F/mongoose/auth/MY API KEY/api/v2/Search()?$filter=IsLatestVersion&searchTerm=''&targetFramework='net472'&includePrerelease=false&$skip=0&$top=26&semVerLevel=2.0.0' returned an unexpected status code '403 Forbidden'.

I am using Visual Studio 22 Version 17.0.1. I have tried both .net 4.8 and 4.7 frameworks.

Please point me in the right direction.

You seem to have forgotten to change "MY API KEY" to your api key, which you should have gotten from myget.

Hello Armend,

In case somebody else encounters the 403 error, this is how it was resolved:

Downgraded to Visual Studio 2019. And then re-claimed using the code included on the invitation.

While logged in to MyGet, mongoose - Feed details, FEED DETAILS, there is a pre-authenticated V3 URL that should be used with Visual Studio 2015 and later.

Dependencies and Target Framework info for each package is also available from the Packages link.
