How can I enable potential customers to download a 30 days license for our extension?

Hi,

We would like to enable potential customers to download a 30 days license for our extension. It should be similar to the SmartConnector Evaluation license. Can you explain how this should be done?

Hi Michael,

I would recommend referring to the FAQ on Smart Connector Server.

Specifically, the section about License Templates. You are able to create a license template that creates a license that expires after 30 days. You then create licenses from that template.

Thank you. I needed to make the template public to see the extra fields.

Now, after the template is public, what should I do to make it visible in the License Depot?

Hi Michael,

Click on the License Depot, and then click "Add Item". You will be able to select your template.

Hi Michael,

Clicking on the name of the extension item in the License Depot (should be blue link), will bring you to it's detail page. You can delete it from there.
