Hi All,
Currently in the process of integrating a number of EBO sites (5 sites) via the EBO-OPC Server product from ControlSee https://shop.exchange.se.com/en-US/apps/65037/opc-server-for-building-operations/editions into a central monitoring systems (Aveva). If in a years time site no.1 add a new chiller for instance and there are new alarms configured on the EBO headend. Does the ControlSee application automatically pick these points up or do these also need configuring/engineering?
TIA!
Adam

Hi Adam,
When you add a new alarm in the EBO, there is o need for configuration/engineering. All you need is to add the new alarm in the OPC Client (Aveva in your case). For example, if the alarm id is "/Server 1/Values/Change of State Alarm", you need to add this OPC item in Aveva - "/Server 1/Values/Change of State Alarm.Alarm".

Al,
My mistake. You need to do run the Discovery processor in SmartConnector to discover the newly added alarms.

Mike
