If you have purchased your subscription through a local reseller, you will receive your activation code via email.
Follow the steps below to activate one or multiple subscriptions in the Web Portal:
In theSubscription Overviewpage, click theActivate Codebutton and enter the Activation Code you received via email.
In theYour activated plansdialog, verify that the correct plan is displayed. ClickNext.
In theAssign to devicedialog, select one or more devices from the list and clickNextto assign your plan to the selected device(s).
In theConfirm assigned plandialog, ensure that your details are correct and clickConfirm.
NOTE:Once you have assigned a plan to a device, you cannot change it.
5. In theSuccessdialog, you will receive acknowledgment that your plan has successfully been assigned to your chosen device.
NOTES:
SmartConnect appends an extension license term to ensure that your new license starts on the expiration of your current one. For example, Standard-to-Standard, or Advanced-to-Advanced.
An upgrade license is also offered by SmartConnect if you wish to upgrade from the Standard plan to the Advanced. The Advanced plan will start immediately.
You can also assign to a lower license, for example from the Advanced plan to the Standard. The Standard plan starts once the Advanced license has fully expired.
