Would I be correcting in thinking that with the kit 3 dual zone I could have 1 channel controlling 1 zone comprising of traditional radiators with a room stat and likely additional smart radiator stats and the other channel controlling a single zone wet UFH installation with another room stat?
As the wet underfloor heating would be 1 zone with 2 circuits would there be any need to use actuators on these circuits?
Obviously the zone valve and pump for the underfloor heating would be wired so that a call for heat from room stat would open the valve, start the pump and fire the boiler.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
The thermostat kit 3 It is intended to homes with 2 different zones heated with radiators and not for underfloor heating. The Gateway (hub) can control 2 different heating zones motorized valves according each one to the corresponding thermostat.
The hub has 3 outputs, one for each heating zone and one for controlling domestic hot water.
To control a combination of radiators and underfloor heating (UFH), you must combine radiator thermostats with the underfloor heation (UfH) connection strip. The whole can be managed with a HubR controlling the boiler.
Hope this helps!

@Alfred_SE this is a real shame that you do not support single zone ufh with no actuators on the second heating channel on the hub.
It seems to be a fairly widely used configuration elsewhere that the manifold pump and zone valve supplying the UFH are driven by the switched live from a room stat. With no actuators on the UFH it seems a little excessive to need the wiser UFH controller?
Can you tell us the reasons this is not supported by Wiser? Is it to do with the smart algorithms on a standard heating channel not being able to cope with the thermal lag on UFH systems?
Can this be added as a feature request so that it will be available in the future?

A late reply, but…I have a 3 channel (2x heating + water) wiser hub with one heating channel controlling all radiators (via a 2 port valve, not smart TRV’s) and the other heating channel controlling my single zone Myson UFH. Has worked fine for over a year. UFH has 4 circuits and each has a 24V actuator, all fed from a Myson UFH controller. I found I needed the UFH actuators otherwise the radiator circuit would inadvertently pump through the UFH circuits. If my UFH circuit had its own 2 port valve then that would have removed the need for actuators and Myson controller (essentially just a 24V power supply).
