External power supply for VAM 12LSE modules

Hello everyone,

can someone give me information considering power supply for VAM 12LSE modules.

If there is a arc flash protection system with more then four VAM modules is it necessary to use a seperate external power supply +24Vdc or not?

Hello @Milica_Repac,

I have attached different conditions that you have to check in a Arc flash system in order to choose separate +24Vdc external power supply.

If your system demands for an external power supply then you can use any one of the below external supply unit with voltage output monitoring.

• ABL4RSM24035 (3.5A @ 24Vdc)
• ABL4RSM24050 (5A @ 24Vdc) or any equivalent type of power supply with above functionality

Use of power supplies without voltage monitoring is not recommended.
