The FW30.203 supports new optional I/O card for the P3U30 relay enabling now 14DI, 11DO+WD I/O combination
as an alternative to originally launched 16DI, 8DO + WD configuration. Increased number of outputs enable flexible
interface for additional primary object control like circuit breakers, connectivity with the RTUs and other process
equipment. Added outputs are also a specification killer to meet the protection and control schemes.
For the ANSI market, this release has California Law 2020 cyber security further compliances and horizontal object
symbols for the HMI.
Furthermore, the disturbance recorder, DR, has a fix to the time stamping to publish same time in the events buffer,
protection stages logs and DR curve analysis views. This will improve the customer experience of the product.
The LED status storage function, in the P3U10, P3U20 and P3U30, is now controlled in the output matrix. In case
the LED output is latched, and the power is taken on-off-on then the LED status is the one stored prior relay’s
shutdown regardless what is the active control for the LED. Should the LED control be in non-latch mode, (i.e.
“Connected” in the output matrix) then the LED just follows the active control signal. User can now configure
storage function individually to each LED.
This FW supports also the LPCT&LPVT interface to the P3U30, P3F30 and P3M30 relays but commercial
deliveries will start in September 2020. The arc interface together with the LPCT&LPVT will be released later.
