Hi,
I have a project to replace 2 old star delta starters for newer contactors and overloads (3x LC1D65AP7 & LRD350 etc). In the existing system the overload is on the star contactor (KM2) side and I haven't seen this before.
Would there be any operational reason for this or could this be a error on the origional manufactures part? Are there any instances where it is required to have the overload on the star side?
The starter is operating a smoke extract fan incase of fire.
Kind Regards
Michael
