Good afternoon all,
I'm looking at an application for a customer which would need NSX MCCB's to be fitted with BSCM modules. I've noticed that the current range of BSCM modules are due to be replaced in March 25. Does anyone have any information on what is going to replace these units? I would prefer not to get my customer into a solution which only has a few months life left.

Hi @Peter_Hall ,
I am glad that my answer is useful.
If you are asking about the Modbus tables of NSX with this new BSCM, I recommend the documentation mentioned at the BSCM Instruction sheet below:
When you click on the manual number, it takes you to their web page so you can download or read from there:
Having in mind that the BSCM gives you the NSX status and trip alarms (also open/close if there is a motor mechanism with communication), but if you need to read measurement this information is in the Micrologic (5/6/7).
And this is the Modbus Manual for Micrologic X from MTZ:
Best Regards,

Hi @Peter_Hall ,
Wish you are very well.
Would be important that you mentioned which is the reference that is due to be replaced. I guess we are talking about the LV434205.
As far as I know the valid BSCM reference (LV434220) is the one on the NSX catalog of 2024 and is compatible with the previous NSX communication offer too by connecting with the NSX CORD (+IFM):

This is a video with the BSCM installation with NSX Cord and without it:

Hi @NeiB
Thank you for your great answer and information. You are correct in that i am looking at the new ComPacT MCCB but still thinking along the lines of the older IFM/BSCM set up.
I have to make a technical submission to my customer as we are using an MTZ ACB, PM5111 and outgoing NSX MCCB's all with RS485 output taken to the site BMS system. Do you have information on these new coming parts and RS485 tables that you can share please?
