NS Device identification issue in EPC (Ecostruxure Power Commission)

Hi Guys,

I've come across an issue at site where Non-Auto NS MCCB (Non-communicating) and ML5 NS MCCB (Non-communicating) are not getting identified in EPC. EPC did locate the NS devices with default name BCM-ULP however when we try to connect to device, it shows error "Device identification is not successful".

See attached photos and advise what could be the issue here.

Just for info - We did try to test in lab with EPC connected to just BCM-ULP, it worked fine.

Hi @UdhayakumarAK - Did receive response but response conflicts with what we personally checked in lab. In the lab we simulated by connecting IFM module to just BCM-ULP module without any connection to trip unit and EPC was able to identify and read BCM-ULP. Though we know the information displayed wasn't correct as BCM-ULP wasn't connected to trip unit.

I have the same problem as you. Commission detects the BCM_ULP but fails to connect to the NS.
I hope a solution will be proposed soon...

Thanks for this default identification, I share it with EPC team, They will correct this point as soon as possible.
