EVLink Pro AC Not Starting Correctly - White Status Indicator

Hi there,

We have a number of EVLink Pro AC chargers installed on a customer site.

The customer has reported a failure where one of the chargers no longer functions. The Status LED along the top is white for 60s before turning off and then going white again, as if stuck in some kind of boot loop. It is not possible to establish communications to the device.

We have tried a factory reset using the 5th and 6th micro-switch per the installation manual to no effect.

The "Status Indicator Light" section of the EVlink Pro AC Charging Station Troubleshooting Guide (DOCA0282EN-00) makes no mention of a White LED colour, and indicates an error state should be a red LED. I have seen the LED go white during firmware upgrades during normal operation, but this is not stated in the troubleshooting guide either.

Has anyone in the community encountered anything similar? Is this a known issue with a resolution, or is the unit faulty and will require replacement?

I will note that i believe this charger had firmware 1.3.6.

Anecdotally I have heard from Schneider support that firmware 1.3.6 is a FW version that causes Pro AC to crash permanently if left in that version too long.

Though, i haven't seen an official transmission from Schneider advising that this firmware is unstable.

Are other chargers on firmware 1.3.6 at risk of failure? And therefore does the full fleet of EV chargers need to be visited with a USB and firmware upgraded one by one?
