Hi, We have problem on EIFE, we can’t communicate on it.we can’t even reset it. Is there someone have a solution on this? We already turn off the firewall to discover it but it doesn’t appear on the network. ETH1 blinking, Module Status Blinking,
Network Status no light.

Hi @TwentyOne ,
Hope you are doing well.
I am facing the same problem as you, but with an IFE.
Right now I am updating it to see if it solves the problem.
I recommend that you connect with the front port of Micrologic X and open EcoStruxure Power Commision with the direct option to see if it accepts the update:
Then go to firmware option:
The other point is if you are in the same network with the correct IP addresses (your PC and EIFE), you should see it at the network option to at least open its web page by double clicking on the icon or opening properties and clic direct on the link as my example:
Best Regards,
Neide

Actually that’s our task to update the EIFE but we can’t communicate it. No response also when doing the reset stated on manuals.

Hi @TwentyOne ,
Wish you are very well.
Is not only the network status LED that is not on, it seems to me that the ULP is also OFF:
Have in mind that the IFE/eIFE are gateways dedicated to the circuit breakers of our offers and it is mandatory to have a circuit breaker connected on the ULP port as well as a TRV00880, otherwise it does not open communication (an example below with NSX):
The IFE/eIFE are not like the EGX100/300, COMX210/510 or PAS400/600/800 that are generic gateways that works with or without slaves.
I recommend that you connect to a circuit breaker as one of the examples of the guide attached (it is from 2016 and some references changed, however the connections remained).
Best Regards,
Neide
