Can a circuit breaker be used as a disconnect switch?

Hello, could you please clarify if I a circuit breaker can be used as a disconnect switch OR if anyway a disconnect switch MUST be associated to a circuit breaker if disconnection function is needed?

Hello Diego, it depends type of circuit breaker you choose.

In our range all of our MCCB and ACB circuit breaker have the function switch disconnector

This symbol in the Orange area garanties it.

Hello , for me if you have the symbo of Disconnect switch it will have the same level of features as a swtich.

I was more thinking about the opposite question , how to use a Switch in Circuit breaker . 

By the way, what type of external relay do you recommand to use with Switch disconnector (to move it to a circuit breaker) ?
