Breaker main terminal material

Hello, I would like to inquire about the Circuit breaker Masterpact MTZ2 20H2, 2000 A terminal material. Can the main terminal be changed from copper material to tin plated material? Do you have this type of option (tin plated terminal)?

Hi @Mary ,

Wish you are very well.

Sadly it is not possible to replace the copper terminals for the Aluminum (tin plated) ones as it is indicated on the document page 5/18 as follow. The probably reason is due to the high level of current those MTZ have to stand:

hello @Mary

I'm completly aligned with @NeiB  and to complet her answer, Copper parts have a silver surface treatment.
