modicon m251 boot aplication download error
hello, i am hoping someone here can help me out with my problem. as i still have not got a call back from schneider customer support. long story short, there was a power loss, battery was apparently bad. PLC lost its program. couldnt access the device until we loaded firmware through SD card. also tried to load the program over SD card. that did not take. after getting the PLC back into run mode by loading the program into the volatile memory section of the processor using a USB cable, i tried to create the boot application and download that into the non-volatile portion of memory and it would not download the boot application. i reached out to the OEM and they could not help me. as i mentioned earlier, i am also waiting on a call back from the schneider advanced engineering team. who apparently have 24-48 business hours to respond. any information woulf be appreciated.

Are there any errors in the CPU log at all? If it loaded the code into volatile memory i cant see why it wouldnt load into non-volatile. If the PLC lost its program in the first place i suspect it had never been loaded into non volatile anyway. Having a battery go dead shouldnt cause program loss, maybe retained data loss but thats all.
