M580S - HSBY Mismatch Status

Hi everybody. 

We are working on a project using M580S with HSBY configuration. Kindly refer to attached system architecture for more details (M580S Config.jpg).

We noticed the status on Control Expert screen is showing A-RUN_PRIM / B-STOP / EQUAL. More details can be referred to attached video and pictures. 

Kindly guide us on how to achieve B-RUN_STANDBY. Thank you very much.

A few things to check.

1. Use the hot standby DDDT to transfer the application from the primary system to standby.  Just to ensure the application is sent from the primary system to the standby and they are equal.
2. Make sure both CPUs have access to the ERIO drop.  If one CPU does not see this, it will stop.
3. Make sure the remote IO drop has the extension rack and terminators installed.  You do not show the status of this rack in the images.  Both CPUs indicate an IO fault which suggests an ERIO fault.
4. Use the hot standby DDDT to put the standby PLC into stop and then into run.

Thank you very much for your guidance. We managed to solve the issue. 

Yes, the remote IO extension racks come with terminators. Now we are getting A-RUN_PRIM / B-RUN_STBY / EQUAL. Thank you again.
