Hello,
We would like to perform firmware update of M340 nas M580 CPU as well as NOC moduules.
The trick is that customer still uses Unity pro v12.
Can we use latest versions of firmware for CPUs and NOC modules ?
Regards

Yes you can use the latest version of firmware irrespective of the version of Unity Pro / Control Expert. Generally when you replace a failed module with a new one (which unfortunately happens) there is no need to downgrade the firmware, in fact we strongly advise against this as sometimes newer modules have newer hardware (referenced by PVnn) which is not compatible with the older firmware.
Whenever you download the firmware it will have a revision history associated with it. This will give you any warnings that may be contrary to my comments above.
The general rule is make sure the target firmware that you select for the modules in the Unity / Control Expert project is less than or equal to the firmware installed in the modules.
